The tactic I chose to concentrate on for my two final drafts was line variation.  I originally tried to focus too much on making sure that all the different charms on my pandora bracelet looked realistic whereas I should have focused more on their shapes.  When it was time to do my final drafts I tried to use the different line widths and lengths to my advantage in order to add to the visual appeal of the artwork.  I believe that line variation helps bring the viewer's eye around the entire bracelet [especially in the broken line final piece where I played with the width alot on the bracelet string rather than on the beads, themselves] so that it travels from one side all the way to the other, just as the contour line drawing begins in one spot and ends in another.  I think by adding different widths to the beads, themselves, in the contour final piece also helped to add to the look of the artwork.  Line variation definitely worked to my advantage in this situation.
