Deck of Cards Sketch

This was how I began with my deck of cards, before I designed them with color.

Self- portrait

This was my self portrait. It took a good amount of time to chose how I wanted to go about with this project. Overall,  I like the colors and how the project turned out.

Self Portrait - Doyle

My self portrait through the lens of artist Frank Auerbach.

Masterpiece - Doyle

My first time painting ever. Not exactly the best masterpiece out there, but not too shabby.

Rectangular Harmony & Object Distortion - Doyle

I did my Canon Point and Shoot camera.

Open Form Sequential Narrative - Doyle

For my sequential narrative I did a story about Pacman. To follow along, follow the flow of dots from the top left corner onward. He eventually eats his way free...

Fabric Trompe l'oiel

This was my favorite project we did. It was enjoyable for me, because I enjoy tracing & painting. This project tested our skills with color and took much time and effort.

Masterpiece

This project was a harder one. The shading and painting took time, but I like how it turned out in the end.

Rectangular Harmony & Object Distortion

For this project, I decided to transform a pair of headphones. I used the colors and size of the objects to decide where and how I wanted to place the objects.

Asymmetrical Balance

For these projects we had to use the white space in a positive and negative manner. For the first piece shown, more black was used to take over the artwork, as opposed to the second piece that focuses more on the white space.

Sequential narrative

The was my narrative project. I made it into a ship war, where the one ship launches cannons at the other ship in order to win the war; and sails off into the sunset once done.

Lines

This was my project I did on Lines. Straight, diagonal, organic, and combination. I enjoyed doing this project and see what I would end up with. The combination one is my favorite of the four.

Horizontal/vertical line drawing

This is my second Project. I chose to use the same object as my first, but with the twist of horizontal and vertical lines, I like the way it turned out better as opposed to the contour lines.

Contour Line Drawing

This was my first project. I picked a lighter because of it's features, and I wanted to see if I was going to be able to imitate the buidlings on it, with just 1 line.
