LINE DRAWING

My inspiration for this piece was a tape dispenser, and when drawing my drafts I drew a basic straight forward version of the tape. Once I began thinking outside of the box I enjoyed adding more creativity to the piece. I felt adding a piece of myself in a way to the artwork would make it more interesting. I am a student studying communications and I love to talk (sometimes don't even know when to shut up), so I figured adding a mouth to the tape would make the art work "speak" to whoever views it. Personally I like the way the continuous line drawing looks because I felt it was easier for me to add variations to my work by using thicker lines.
