I like the transformation that took place from piece to piece. Although very simple, I was really intrigued by step one. To me, I got the feeling of rocks in a river that lead to the other side or somewhere else. There is something soothing and exciting about a strip of rocks that could lead anywhere. By alternating the size of each "rock" the feeling of "leading somewhere" was emphasized.
