I chose to revise the curves piece because I feel the finished product appeared to look like I was trying to convey the image of a palm tree. Although this was not my original intent, every time i looked at the finished piece I would interpret it as a palm tree. Also, i felt the piece came out too patterned and uniform. In the revised curves piece I feel I accomplished more emotion; the curves came together to create bubble shapes. Additionally, i captured a sense of near and far in the revised piece. The bigger shapes appear close up and the smaller ones appear to be far and floating away in the background. I like how the close bubbles appear to be tightly clustered together and almost overwhelming, while the far bubbles appear free spirited and floating away in the background.
